Below you’ll find a message from the Ukrainian community in Malta.



Last month, with the help of our Honorary Consulate of Ukraine in Malta the Ukrainian Community Crisis Centre was established for better coordinating effort.

☎️Also with the help of our volunteers, the crisis center is equipped with a 24-hour hotline, which you can reach on +356 99204051. Any questions you may have from now on shall be addressed directly to this number for the most effective assistance.

📵The personal numbers of the coordinators, which were provided for public use as an emergency measure in early March, are no longer in operation!

ℹ️The responsibilities of the Community Crisis Center include the following issues:
  1. Providing information on the rules of arrival in Malta (quarantine rules, border crossing rules, travel with animals, etc.);
  2. Information support regarding temporary accommodation during quarantine;
  3. Information support on further steps after the end of quarantine;
  4. Information provision, assistance and welcoming by our volunteers upon arrival at the Malta International Airport;
  5. Provision of practical assistance during quarantine. The Crisis Center has several volunteers who can be contacted directly for support with food, clothing, medicine, etc. You can contact support staff on 24/7 basis on +356 99197792;
  6. Information support with reference to the collection of medical and non-medical humanitarian aid, opening hours of the warehouse in iz-Zejtun and the most current needs for the collection;
  7. Information support for finding and coordinating volunteers.🏠Finally, everyone offering or looking for temporary housing is sincerely asked to switch to a dedicated reliable third-party platform http://www.ukrainetakeshelter.com/ If you have a home that you would like to offer to displaced people from Ukraine, please register your ad via the link in the upper right corner of the page. It won’t take you longer than 5 minutes.

❗After the registration, please do not forget to read the rules and recommendations for hosting. You will find these in the lower left corner of the page titled "Privacy policy" and "Security policy".

🙏🏻Thank you very much for your kindhearted help offered to Ukrainians!If you are looking for a temporary accommodation, please enter a name of any town in Malta in the search field on the site. That way you will find a list of current offers with all the relevant details.

‼️We sincerely ask you to remember about your safety and to contact your potential host in advance. Very importantly, please read the platform security policy carefully before starting your search. You will find the security policy in the lower left corner of the page. You can change the language settings of the platform there as well.
